What I've Done
Coming from a Vietnamese father, I was always told that there were only two viable career paths: Doctor, or Engineer. I spent my early years believing this, preparing myself to enter the world of computer science. However, I never realized that the video games that I loved playing offered a viable alternate. From video games, I discovered my passion for Game Design.
Since then, I ended up earning my Bachelor of Game Design degree from one of the leading creative college's in the world, Sheridan College. There, each year I was a finalist for Sheridan's Sprint Week Competitions, a challenge where more than 70 Game Designers compete by making games in a single week. I also had the opportunity to intern at the world renowned game studio, Bioware in Edmonton, on their game, Anthem.

When I'm not doing anything game-related, I like to road bike around the city. I tried Mountain Biking in Edmonton and ended up with a cracked rib, but its not something that I'd never do again.
I love to read, and am a big fan of George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. I enjoy reading self-help books more than I care to admit, and am currently in love with Marie Kondo's The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.
While in school, I also worked as a Resident Advisor, where I was able to meet many different people and work in a very close team. During this time, I planned events, managed and checked in with over 150 residents, and documented the ongoings of the residence. This was a very fulfilling job, where I learned how to deal with all sorts of situations.
I'm also pretty active on Twitter, so feel free to strike up a conversation at any time!
